Germany has won the security seat in the UN.Potugal came in second and canada in 3rd.Portugal will be running against  canada for a temporary seat in the security area in  the UN.The security area of the UN opened only 2 temporary seats.Portugul stands the most chance of winning with the last election being with canada with114 and portugal  with 122 though there are now one 128 votes that where given to germany out there to decide the outcome.Canada has been in the security 6 times since 1940 and its last member left in 2000.Many UN people say that germany has never passed up a chance to get on the main body of the UN.
