A new wave of christian iraqes have fled north or out of nation.They fear the nation has lost the means to protect them.The event begun after a siege on a church in bagdad.It is mostly christians from bagdad and mosul.After the siege several bombs and other attacks have been made on christians.The jews ahve alreadty mostly fled.Most left with only what they could fit in their cars.Several think if this continues at this rate the fiath will be nonexistent for the most part in iraq.
“It’s exactly what happened to the Jews,” said Nassir Sharhoom, 47,As he fled to the northern parts of iraq where it is notibally safer for chritiansThey want us all to go.”he continues saying.Iraqs leaders including the prime minister have pledged to attempt to tighten security of non state religiones to prevent this from happening again.Though cristians have not been the only hit religon in iraq.The week before the siege several dozen bombing hit sunni and shite villages.
it is estimated that over a half of the christian population of iraq have fled.The instutution of islam in iraq says it will kill christians where ever they can get to them.Several shooting occured in mosul and then several suicide bombing followed.12 died and 8 were in mosul.the goriz family was a family in the siege and said they were ttrapped in their house.Eventualy the iraq army came to their rescue and told them they couldnt protect them.they took this as a sigh that when a military tells you they cant protect them they should leave.Most of the fleerers fled to turkey.A total of 1,100 families have fled reported a united nations official
