Blog Assignment #7 / G.Muller

George Muller was born on September 27th 1805. He was a christian evangelist Director of  an orphanage.
He taught all the children at his orphanage. He cared for a total of 10,024 orphans in his life. He was even accused of raising the poor above their natural stations in life. He also established 117 Christian schools to teach over 120,000 children most of them being orphans.

Muller established 5 homes to take orphans in. Even though they each cost 100,000 he never went into debt thanks  to Gods help. Several times donations would come just when they needed it such as once when they were out of food while they were praying the baker came in with enough bread for everyone. When an orphan left they were given a bible and a tin trunk containing 2 sets of clothes. People near by claimed the local mines(which usually recruited children since they were cheaper) could not get any laborers since Muller would secure a job for them before they left.

At the age of 70 he went on a 17 year mission trip where he traveled over 200,000 Miles preaching in English, French, and German. He returned to Britain for a year before dyeing in orphan house #3. Muller lived a life of prayer. Once when the drains were blocked Muller prayed that they could find the problem since the drain was 17 feet underground and it was found immediately. Muller is a great example of how we should all live a life of prayer.
