Edison changed the world with his invention of the light bulb, the motion camera, and the phonograph. During his lifetime he obtained over 1,000 patents most of which he marketed to the public. Of all his inventions the phonograph was his favorite. He discovered how to make one while working on his telephone. he discovered how to record sound in cylinders and soon improved it into a disc.

Alexander Graham Bell invented the telephone in 1876. His first words in the telephone were "Mr. Watson, comer here, I want to see you". He played many roles in his lifetime. Inventor, celebrity, teacher, and family man.
Alexander Bell also wrote several scientific journals on several inventions and other items, such as a hang glider.


Calvin Coolidge was President when the nation transferred to a consumer economy. Calvin Coolidge was president from 1921-1929. Calvin Coolidge was one of the people in the Era to help transfer the government to a mass consumer economy. The documentary features 185 photos 5 short films and 7 speechs by Calvin Coolidge.


The Veterans history project is about, collecting  first hand accounts of war veterans and citizens that played active roles in the wars. The veterans history project has several first hand accounts of all wars the United states has participated in since World War 1 to present day. The veterans history project also collects several other accoutns of wars such as letters and journals.

The classics come to comics was a program that ran from the 40s to the 60s. The program took classical literature and made them into abridged illustrated novels. The novels received criticism from purist but was countered that the introduction of serious books to a popular audience was more important. the program was led by Albert Kanter, a Russian Jew immigrant.
