      Igor Vovkovinskiy recently raised over $37,000 to get a pair of shoes. He was borne with a tumor causing him to grow to 7 feet and 8 inches. His feet also grew so big that he hasn't been able to buy a pair of shoes in a store since he was a teenager. He had grown 6 feet tall by the time he was 6 years old, when he was 6 he has surgery though and removed part of the tumor slowing his growth down. Reebok volunteered to custom make the shoes for free, but He still raised over double his goal of $16,000. He says he will use the money for clothes, a vehicle, and his house, all of which will have to be made customly because of his height.

    Adam Kisielewski was a marine in Iraq until when going through a explosive rigged door exploded on him. The explosives killed another marine and cost Adam his one of his arms and one of his legs. After the explosives injured him he was quickly taken to a field hospital then sent to Germany to receive more treatment. Then he was sent Back to the States and began recovering for the next seven months. Soon he decided he wanted to be a pilot. He learned to fly in a specially designed aircraft, and now he is able to pilot.

        Jeremy Staat and Wesley Barrientos are doing a 100 day biking trip to honor and brign attention  to veterans. They are both veterans of Iraq. Wesley also lost both  of his legs in his third tour of Iraq so he is using a hand pumped bicycle. They are trying to bring attention to the high rate of veterans suicide.  On average one veteran commits suicide every 80 minutes. They are also  bringing attention to how hard it is for the veterans to gain help from the veterans affairs agency which says that they are overloaded by the amount of  insurance cases they are  getitng from the veterans of  Iraq and Afghanistan.

Scientist recently found a New species fo frog int he middle of New York city. The frog was previously thought to be jsut another leopard frog. Scientist had expected there to be another species fo them but until recently they couldn't prove it. They were recognized by their croak which was different from the near by leopard frog species. The species were so much alike they had to sue DNa testing to prove it was a new species.

Recently the rarest species of bumblebees were rediscovered. The species hadn't been seen since the 1950s. They were found in new mexico. Scientist say that there are several lost species of insects that sometimes go over a 100 years without being seen by anyone. Scientist find it very hard to prove that insects are extinct, and new species are beign rediscovered or discovered on a regular basis. Though the discovery process is lower then possible since there aren't very much insectologist  to review them all sicne, compared to studying dinosaurs insects sound kind of boring.
